Right in the middle of village, called Fatepur, in the district of Deoghar, the district headquarters is about 40 km towards the north; other nearest cities of Madhupur and Giridih are 22 km east and 45 km west respectively. There is a train between Madhupur and Giridih, that stops at Jagdishpur, a small railway station about 12 km south from Ekta Niketan;. only four times a day. Buses are between these three towns, not so frequent though. Nearest bus stops Burhai, Sarpata, Javaguri, Bhirkibad and Jagdishpur are between 5-12 km away.
